Matt is the author of several great books geared towards teens:

Some fun facts about Matt and his books are:
*Ball Don't Lie will soon be a major motion picture. Some people you may have heard of in it are... Ludacris and Nick Cannon! Make sure you read it before the movie comes out!
*He wasn't a major "reader" until college, when he read The Color Purple, by Alice Walker
*His dream car is a black Honda Accord
*When he was younger he had a dog named Peanut
*He has a MFA (Master of Fine Arts) degree in Creative Writing from San Diego State University
*He got his undergraduate degree from the University of the Pacific; there he received a full athletic scholarship for basketball
*Right now, he lives in Brooklyn, NY and teaches Creative Writing

*She was a cheerleader in high school! When she wasn't cheering she was doing gymnastics, diving, track, and volleyball!
*In college she was in a Sorority
*She has an M.B.A. degree (a Master of Business Administration)
*She loves breaking the stereotypes of cheerleaders/sorority girls/businesspeople
*Kay is a major believer in living your dreams. She believes life is too short to be doing something that you don't like, or doing something because it's what somebody else wants you to do. She wants everyone to go out and be the person who they want to be!

Bake Sale Success!
We raised $75.00 at the bake sale we held on Wednesday, January 27th!
The money we raised is going to towards a bus to bring us to the Teen Book Festival in May! Thank you to everyone who contributed to the bake sale, and thanks to all who bought our delicious deserts!!!
Just so you know... we are planning another bake sale for March!

Robin Brande

*When she was about 17, she went through a "Victorian Era" phase. She wore long dresses that went to the floor and gloves whenever she went somewhere.
*She was in the Broadway musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!
*She is (or has been at some point) a lawyer, a Sunday School teacher, a Girl Scout Leader, an insurance salesperson, community college instructor, a wilderness first responder and even more!
*She loves dogs!
*Right after high school her first job was a waitress at a lunch counter in a drug store; she was not impressed by the way the food was prepared there though (it was gross!)
